The airport scene was cut from an episode that aired two weeks after 9/11

The hit show's co-creator has said there will be no reunion

CNN  —

Fans must really be wanting a “Friends” reunion.

A deleted scene from the hit NBC show has gone viral years after it was posted on YouTube.

In it, Chandler and Monica (portrayed by Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox) are on the way to their honeymoon when they hit a snag with the TSA after Chandler jokes about a bomb.

The scene was pulled from the episode that aired two weeks after the September 11 attacks.

It was uploaded to YouTube several years ago but is currently thrilling the Internet.

“Friends” ended its run in May 2004 but lives on in syndication. The stars have gone on to various other projects, and in April, co-creator Marta Kauffman dashed fans hopes of a reunion.

” ‘Friends’ is about that time in your life when your friends are your family,” she told EW. “Once you start having a family, that changes. And you have new groups. It’s not that you don’t love those people anymore, but it changes. But to put them back together now when it’s no longer that time of their lives, there’s no reason for the show. That’s all the show was about – that time and those relationships.”
