The Harvard students who pranked Republican frontrunner Donald Trump last week didn’t get him good, because, a spokeswoman said Tuesday, “it was a waste of only a few minutes.”
“The students who perpetrated this are fraudsters and liars, but frankly it was a waste of only a few minutes. Mr. Trump attended the great Wharton School of Finance, a school that has more important things to do,” Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said in a statement.
Members of Harvard’s prank student paper, the Harvard Lampoon, duped Trump last week with an elaborate prank, posing as writers for the student newspaper, The Crimson. Trump sat for a photo with the students, believing it was an endorsement by the Crimson.
