CNN  —

Wildfires have destroyed at least 2,400 buildings in Alberta, Canada, and forced the mandatory evacuation of more than 90,000 people – including the entire city of Fort McMurray.

Residents in the city were forced to leave a second time when the fire moved toward the emergency shelter in which they were taking refuge.

Several organizations are working to help the evacuees and could use support.

The Edmonton Food Bank is accepting food donations that people can drop off at grocery stores and fire stations throughout Alberta. Monetary donations are welcome as well.

The Edmonton Emergency Relief Services is requesting donations of diapers, baby wipes, pillows, toiletries, socks and underwear. Donations can be dropped off at its warehouse. The organization is also accepting monetary support for those who are not in Edmonton.

The Salvation Army is providing its services to first responders as well as food, clothing, and shelter to evacuees. Its also on hand for emotional support.

The Canadian Red Cross is asking for monetary donations to help provide shelter, clothing and food for evacuees. Volunteers are also encouraged to lend a hand.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also tweeted, “The Government will match individual donations to the Canadian Red Cross in support of wildfire relief efforts. Donate at redcross.ca.”

The Fort McMurray Fire Emergency Animal Assistance has a form online that evacuees can fill out to inform local authorities of pets left at home or for pets that need temporary housing.
