President Barack Obama urged voters in the United Kingdom to remain in the European Union when they hold a referendum in June.

“I believe the UK strengthens our collective prosperity through the EU,” Obama said alongside British Prime Minister David Cameron at a press conference Friday in London, adding later, “I don’t believe the EU moderates British influence in the world. It magnifies it.”
