Vice President Joe Biden was asked about Donald Trump while he was with Central American leaders

Biden made a joke that the real estate mogul would ask him to be his vice president

CNN  —

Four more years for Vice President Joe Biden?

That was the joke Wednesday morning when he was busy meeting with Central American leaders.

Asked about Donald Trump’s elevation to presumptive Republican nominee, Biden quipped, “I anticipate he’ll ask me to be vice president.”

After some laughs, he followed-up, “I have nothing serious to say.”

After spending months weighing his own presidential run, Biden announced in October he would forgo a run. He will, however, campaign heavily for the eventual Democratic nominee, according to aides.

And while there are no constitutional limits for how long a person can serve as vice president, there’s little doubt that Biden won’t be sticking around for another term.
