Authorities are reporting at least one death and scores of injuries after a New Jersey Transit commuter train crashed into the Hoboken platform during Thursday morning rush hour. Rescuers had to scramble to remove people from the trains, and officials say they’re all accounted for.
There was major damage to the train and terminal, and photos posted to social media show part of the structure’s roof may have collapsed.
Major delays can be expected as the terminal is a major transit hub across the river from Manhattan.
