Sweet 16 2017: Live Updates, Scores for Thursday's NCAA Tournament Games
The 2017 NCAA tournament is down to 12 teams after the first day of action in the Sweet 16. Top seeds Gonzaga and Kansas both easily stayed alive, while No. 3 Oregon squeaked out a one-point win over Michigan. No. 11 Xavier refused to step aside, advancing to the Elite Eight for the first time in nine years with a 73-71 win over No. 2 Arizona. Sweet 16 action continues on Friday.
