Former Donald Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows will no longer cooperate with the House select committee investigating the January 6 Capitol Hill riot, according to a letter obtained by CNN from his attorney to the panel.

CNN first reported last week that Meadows had begun cooperating with the committee, handing over thousands of documents and agreeing to appear for an interview this week. George J. Terwilliger, Meadows’ attorney, writes that Meadows would answer written questions.
