After losing Super Bowl LVII to the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni told his players to turn the pain of defeat into a strength.

"I just reminded them that all the things that we've went through in our lives was something that was adversity; that we will overcome this, too. Because the type of guys that we have in there — we will use this to motivate us. We will use this pain — will use this failure — to motivate us so we can make it a strength.”

As for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts' impressive performance in the loss, Sirianni said: "Jalen played the best game I've seen him play in the two years we've been together. He was outstanding.

"I really thought he was in complete control. He did things with his legs in the run game, he did things with his arm in the pass game, made some unbelievable throws, unbelievable reads. I thought he played outstanding.

"You look at the game and that was good for the NFL, in the sense that the two best quarterbacks in the NFL played against each other on the biggest stage, and the biggest lights, and Jalen played great."

After winning Super Bowl LVII, Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce we interviewed on the field by FOX reporter Erin Andrews.

Tight end Kelce was vocal about the perceived disrespect aimed at the Chiefs, who entered the game as underdogs against the Philadelphia Eagles despite appearing in three of the last four Super Bowls.

“None one of y’all said the Chiefs were gonna take it home this year!” Kelce said. “Not a single one. Feel that s**t! Feel it, and on top of that, next time the Chiefs say something, put some respect on our name!”

When the attention turned to Mahomes, Kelce grabbed the mic to praise his MVP quarterback: “M-V-Pat! You can’t say enough about what this guy means to Kansas City and this team.”

Mahomes was typically humble, sharing the credit with his coach and teammates.

“I mean, I told y’all before this season, we got coach Andy Reid, we got guys like Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, Frank Clark,” Mahomes said. “We’re gonna be the Kansas City Chiefs. At the end of the day, we’re gonna be the Kansas City Chiefs, and we’re gonna celebrate this right here, baby! We’re gonna celebrate this the right way.”

Chiefs' Frank Clark emotional: In an interview with FOX Sports’ Peter Schrager, Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was speaking through tears as he explained what it meant to him to be standing on the field as Super Bowl champion.

“It’s a blessing, man. I know my pops, my pops smiling, man. I wish he could see it, you know, but I know he’s smiling,” Clark said. “Been going through a lot the last few days, but it makes sense now. It makes sense, bro.”

In 2018, Clark tweeted that his father and three other family members died in a housefire in Cleveland, Ohio.

"Though it didn’t end the way we envisioned, Philadelphia has been electric with the unbelievable joy and energy you have brought to this city,” the mayor said after the game, which ended with the Kansas City Chiefs as champions after a 38-35 victory.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce shared an embrace with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, after Super Bowl LVII.

The two could be seen chatting for a while amid the swarm of players, family members and media personnel on the confetti-strewn field.

The Kelces' mother, Donna, told CNN earlier this week that she would be cheering loudly for both offenses throughout the game, and that it would be an emotional night regardless of the outcome — knowing one of her sons would experience the ecstasy of victory, and the other a bitter defeat.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes named Super Bowl MVP

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes — already named the league's season-long Most Valuable Player — has been crowned Super Bowl MVP, too.

Mahomes threw for 182 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

Despite going into halftime trailing in the game, Mahomes led his team on a furious comeback during a second half where they put up 24 points.

The Chiefs scored on all four of their possessions in the second half.

The victory was the franchise’s third championship and second title in four seasons.

The comeback was even more remarkable considering Mahomes' situation at the end of the first half. He appeared to hurt his right ankle late in the second quarter. On a third-down scramble, Mahomes was tackled around both of his ankles by Eagles linebacker T.J. Edwards. The Chiefs signal-caller was in visible distress while he limped off the field and seen in agony while sitting on the Chiefs bench.

Mahomes originally injured his ankle against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the divisional round of the playoffs.

During the trophy presentation, Mahomes said there was nothing that could have kept him off the football field tonight, and he made good on that promise.
